control through neurostimulation

ABOUT ELIRA

We are Elira, a US-based neurostimulation company dedicated to helping people gain greater control over how they look and feel through non-invasive modulation of the central nervous system. We are developing a drug-free wearable patch that gives overweight adults increased control over how much they eat by safely and effectively suppressing appetite. Our ELIRA-2 clinical trial is in progress with plans for regulatory submission in 2018 and commercial launch in 2019.

This device is not available commercially. Elira is conducting clinical studies to support eventual marketing clearance for the product in the US.

“I can’t cope with cravings. Late last night I gave in and ate chocolate brioche, which took me over maintenance calories. I crave sugar all the time.” – Sara

“Gave into my cravings because it is snowing outside and I just want to eat food and be fat and watch Netflix.” – Jasmine
“I know I’m not actually hungry, but I could fit more food in there.” – James
